    Molecular-cellular mechanisms of tumor growth, protein and genetic engineering
    The main focus of the work done in this area is the development of a selective delivery of anticancer drugs into tumor cells with specific protein vectors. In addition, using the established drug delivery system based on human alpha-fetoprotein as a foundation, studies on the mechanisms of stimulation of anti-tumor immune response with tumor antigens and dendritic cells are performed. Genetic and protein engineering helps to create drugs with the required specified effect.

    Synthesis of new biologically active compounds
    The synthesis of new biologically active compounds and the assessment of their specific activity is an important part of our work. New anticancer agents created by us and patented in the Russian Federation include: "Flustat" against prostate cancer and "Sintazin" against breast cancer.

    Molecular and cellular basis of "new" infectious diseases
    We study the molecular and cellular basis of "new" infectious diseases, approaches to the identification of uncultured forms microorganisms, as well as the conditions and causes of non-pathogenic microbial transition environment of a modern man into a potentially pathogenic state and develop new means of delivering antibiotics, including anti, based on synthetic polymers.
    The main results were obtained in the experimental modeling of the immune response at various levels, during the study of the features of the disease caused by bacteria of the genus Aeromonas.
