The First MSMU held a foresight-session  “National HIV/AIDS Awareness” The First MSMU held a foresight-session “National HIV/AIDS Awareness”, which became a part of the National Stop HIV Project.
The medical volunteers, the representatives of the Russian Universities and various non-governmental organizations.  The foresight-session became a part of the National Stop HIV Project.
The foresight- session program included a panel discussion: “The situation of the HIV/ AIDS in Russia. The Youth’s role in HIV transmission”.
Mr. V. Patrick Saldanha, the head of the Regional Support Team for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS)) made a report on HIV situation around the world.  He informed the audience that South Africa, Nigeria, Russian Federation, India and Uganda were the hardest hit by HIV in 2015.  
The vice-rector for Public Relations and Educational Work, Prof. I.Chizh, welcomed the participants on behalf of the First MSMU Rector, Prof. P. Glybochko. He told about the activities of the public movement “Medical volunteers” and the First MSMU Volunteer Career, which will be a training centre for volunteers at the International Youth Festival in Sochi, 2017.
