Our pediatric surgeons represented FMSMU at the European Congress in Italy with noble dignity

milan2.jpgMilan hosted 17 Congress of the European Pediatric Surgeons Association (EUPSA). Traditionally, the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Urology, Andrology headed by Prof. D. Morozov, partook in the Congress, as well as the colleagues of other FMSMU departments and friendly universities. 6 poster papers were prepared to be presented by Associate Professor E. Pimenova:

• THE ANALYSIS OF SURGERY FOR HIRSCHSPRUNG'S DISEASE IN RUSSIA (by D. Morozov, E. Pimenov, M. Hayrapetyan, E. Hayryan; the work was patronized by the Russian Association of Pediatric Surgeons),
• VEGF AS A MARKER OF KIDNEY INJURY IN EXPERIMENTAL INTRA-ABDOMINAL HYPERTENSION (by O. Morozova, D. Morozov, I. Budnik, A. Zyplakov, N. Zakharova, Yu. Melnikov; the joint work in collaboration with the FMSMU Department of Pathophysiology and Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University),
• J.H. LOUW ADAPTATION OF DISCONGRUENT SEGMENTS OF INTERINTESTINAL ANASTOMOSIS CONSTRUCTING A MATHEMATICAL MODEL (by D. Morozov, M. Hayrapetyan, S. Gorodkov, E. Pimenova, L. Gaydarova, E. Petrochenkov; the joint work in cooperation with Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University and Chernyshevsky Saratov State University),
• INCIDENCE OF HYPOSPLENISM IN CHILDREN AFTER DIFFERENT METHODS OF SPLEEN INJURY TREATMENT (by S. Klyuev, D. Morozov, M. Ayrapetyan),
• INNERVATION OF THE CLITORAL GLANS IN VIRILIZATION OF THE EXTERNAL GENITALIA (by D. Morozov, E. Ayryan, E. Tsmokalyuk, M. Ayrapetyan, E. Pimenova; the joint work in cooperation with Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University),
• ANORECTAL MANOMETRY IN CHILDREN WITH COLORECTAL PROBLEMS (by E. Pimenova, J. Fomenko, M. Ayrapetyan, D. Morozov; the joint in cooperation with the Ryzhikh State Scientific Center of Coloproctology).

The Congress has been held annually since 1995 in various European countries. The Congress is haunted by leaders of Europe's pediatric surgery, as well as top experts from the United States and Asia. Reportsof pediatric surgeons from Sechenov FMSMU were well appreciated by our foreign counterparts.

The next meeting is set for next May in Cyprus.
